COUNTY law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys is supporting the military community by offering free legal advice to all X-Forces businesses.
Four hundred entrepreneurs in the X-Forces network will be able to access expert guidance from its legal advice helpline without charge.
Richard Morgan, partner, head of litigation, and head of HCR's defence security and forces sector service, said: “We consider it to be our privilege to support the military community, both serving, veterans and their families, being conscious of the enormous debt we all owe to the men and women who protect us all. As a leading regional law firm, we consider it to be both our duty and our honour to assist a sector that is so integral to the business and community life of the area in which we are based.”
Mr Morgan added that as leading experts in the defence field, Harrison Clark Rickerbys has an acute understanding of the military culture and common issues that service personnel are likely to face. The firm has signed the Military Corporate Covenant, and has a heritage and culture of supporting British military organisations such as the Royal British Legion, SABRE, SSAFA and Help For Heroes.
Ren Kapur, chief executive of X-Forces, added: "Working with such a reputable law firm in the defence sector is a great privilege. We are delighted to be able to offer this important support to X-Forces businesses. The contributions of our military community through service, and now in business, are so important to the UK.”
