A CYBER security software specialist based in the city has been celebrating being awarded a Queen's Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
Titania, headquartered in Barbourne Road, Worcester set up a party with employees and close friends of the business, where Vice Lord Lieutenant Hon Lady Morrison presented the company with the prize crystal bowl.
The firm also recently was awarded small business of the year for the Chamber of Commerce as well as scooping an industry award at the Computing Security ceremony in London earlier this month.
Titania comes from humble beginnings but has made a name on the international market with customers including UK government, FBI, PayPal and Deloitte.
Titania chief executive Ian Whiting said: “Awards such as these showcase the spirit of Britain.
"UK’s international success owes a lot to bedroom entrepreneurs and enthusiasts who drive forward new innovation and ideas ensuring the UK is a major player in the global market.”
In the past six years, Titania’s turnover has been up by 1,456 per cent, profit up by 1,537 per cent, and it is now employing nearly 50 people, having started as a one-man initiative.
