A FIRM of Worcestershire accountants is continuing to grow and has plans for new jobs to be created in the coming years.

Hayward Wright Chartered Accountancy Group, which has offices in Worcester and Redditch, has become a platinum partner with cloud-based accounting platform Xero, which is one of the world leaders in its field.

The accountants are helping schools, retailers and businesses upgrade their systems to state of the art software.

The deal, which puts Hayward Wright in the top two per cent of Xero’s UK partners, will bring the new jobs to the region as the company seeks to grow its cloud accounting team from two to 15 by the end of 2020.

The accountancy firm already has around 200 clients who use the software - with them now committing to more than doubling that figure over the next two years.

Alistair Hayward-Wright, the firm's managing director said: “We’ve been working with Xero since 2011 and now as platinum partners we will be helping our clients, including those in the retail and education sector, transfer onto Xero so they can really see the benefits.

“The deal is also brilliant news as it will allow us to add more accounting and technical jobs in the next few years across our three offices.

"It’s vital that we have the technical and accounting expertise in place to support our growth plans for the system.

"Making that jobs commitment makes the deal with Xero that bit more special.”

Mr Hayward Wright said his company had already been approached by a number of academy schools.

Hayward Wright Accountancy Group specialises in a variety of financial matters including tax planning, book keeping, accounts, audit reports and commercial finance.
