THE next Enterprising Worcestershire Programme workshop is being held at The Hive tomorrow.

The Enterprising Worcestershire Programme recent interactive sales and marketing workshop proved a success attracting employees from 15 Worcestershire-based small and medium sized firms.

The workshop was the first in a series of two free events focused on sales and marketing, and being delivered by local entrepreneur Stuart Allen, managing director of The Sales Performance Company and founder of Worcestershire Hour.

The second workshop, Sales and Marketing, Part Two, will be taking place at the library between 4pm and 7pm.

Businesses do not have to attended the first workshop to attend.

Enterprising Worcestershire workshops are booked through a new business events portal, which can be found at https://businesseventsworcestershire.com and features a calendar of events offering support on a wide range of business topics, including GDPR, legal essentials and performance improvement.

Sam Preece, who manages the Enterprising Worcestershire business support programme, said: “Delegates had an opportunity to learn about the importance of building a sales process that supports the buyer. Stuart also looked at best practice in the evolving digital marketing scene, as well as debunking several marketing myths.

“On the back of this successful workshop, we’re excited to now be promoting part two of the sales and marketing workshop. It’s aimed at new entrepreneurs working in a business to business environment, seeking to learn the art and science of modern effective selling.”

Enterprising Worcestershire is a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) part funded Worcestershire County Council initiative. It provides a valuable support network to people embarking on the early stages of setting up their own business.
