A FESTIVAL celebrating Worcester's thriving business community is being held at a new venue this year.

The fifth annual Festival of Business is being organised by Worcestershire Enterprise Ltd, the business behind the successful WorcestershireHour.

The latest festival is taking place at the iconic Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich on Friday, September 14.

Stuart Allen, founder of the event, described it as: “A celebration of enterprise and entrepreneurship and a showcase of the hugely diverse business skills and capabilities of the county.

"With free entry and free parking, the Worcestershire Festival of Business is the one exhibition you really must not miss.

"All are welcome and pre-registration is not required, simply visit between 9am and 3pm.”

The exhibition will take place in the Regent Centre adjacent to the main hotel and has 90 exhibitors.

Mr Allen said it is hoped to attract 1,000 visitors from across the country.

Previous events have been held at the Guildhall and Worcester High Street, and attracted visitors from as far as Manchester and London.

In addition to the main exhibition event there is also a breakfast networking event and a series of workshops and networking opportunities throughout the day.

Money raised will go to the festival's official charity Midlands Air Ambulance, and profits will also help support other local charities and events.

The event is sponsored by City Signs with support from Worcestershire LEP, Bank House Hotel, Business & Innovation Magazine, Areca Design, You Do Better and Welcome Telecom.
