THERE is a new face to join the Barclays team in Worcester.

Ross Veale has joined the Barclays Corporate team in Worcester as a relationship director for Worcester.

Mr Veale will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients with a turnover in excess of £6.5million, and will be working closely with other parts of the Barclays Group to ensure clients receive a consistent and integrated service.

The 39-year-old, who lives in Redditch, has over 15 years’ experience within the financial services sector, specifically within asset based lending and commercial banking.

Mr Veale said: “I am pleased to have been given the opportunity to join the Worcester corporate banking team based above the branch on High Street.

"I am looking forward to having my own portfolio of clients and helping them to realise their business goals and ambitions. This is a varied and diverse economic geography and I look forward to playing my part in supporting and developing the local economies.”

Wayne Taylor, who oversees the Barclays corporate banking team in the county, added: “I am delighted that Ross is taking on the role within my team, his enthusiasm and expertise will be a real benefit to the broader team."
