I AM delighted to invite local firms to a new business event Inspiring Growth in the county.

Taking place on Thursday, September 27, at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich, Worcestershire Business Central’s (WBC) Inspiring Growth conference will take on a new approach to problem solving.

Attendees will have the chance to take part in an exciting business challenge, drawing on their knowledge and experience as business leaders to consider the challenges, threats and opportunities for their business. The session is designed to generate tangible solutions for improvement and business growth for firms of all sectors and sizes, focusing primarily on “Customers, Cash and Capacity”.

Guests will have the fantastic opportunity to hear from two high level speakers, welcoming Facebook and Daniel Walton, Managing Director at OLPRO, to the stage to discuss business success and the challenges faced on the way.

After being inspired by the practical ideas and solutions to engender business growth, delegates are invited to take part in WBC’s Dragon Vault – inspired by BBC Two’s Dragons' Den.

Attendees will join forces to think of a new business idea and pitch these to a panel of judges, including; Cassie Bray, H&W Chamber of Commerce, Linda Smith, Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Jane Bishop, Malvern Panalytical, Chris Walklett, Bishop Fleming, Jim McBride, Lesk Engineers, Stephanie Cooper, Handelsbanken, Jennifer Appleton, ISO Quality Services and Dom Portman, Fancy Fresher’s. The team who creates the best business plan and is chosen by the “dragons” as winners will receive a brilliant prize.

As well as taking part in a variety of interactive activities, guests will be able to network with a wide range of businesses from across Worcestershire. I would also like to encourage those attending to visit the Chamber’s stand to find out how we can further support your business.
