WORCESTER's global exporting success story Southco recently hosted a successful community event, relaunching the brand.

Southco Europe organised the event at the Wainwright Road headquarters, where a new global brand refresh initiative was launched.

The event was designed to provide editors of local publishers and community leaders the opportunity to interact with Southco’s senior and product management teams, learning about how the company creates compelling experiences with their customers.

Southco serves a wide spectrum of industry, supplying latches, locks, captive fasteners, hinges, handles and other accessories.

It has built on the strong foundation of their brand, making ongoing investments in businesses future growth and development in the UK and around the world to reinforce their position as a global leader in engineered access hardware solutions

The main focus of the day was to learn more about the Southco brand and the employees who play a key role in supporting a customer centric culture.

Delegates toured the the Worcester manufacturing facility and saw how technology is utilized to transform a facility into a 'smart' factory by connecting software with processes to increase efficiency whilst reducing defects, downtime and waste.

The delegates were able to learn more about the products produced in Worcester and learn from the management team about future investments.
