I AM pleased to say that we are bringing together some of Worcestershire’s most creative businesses to the latest BetaDen tech talk, to discuss the use of technology and automated processes in innovation.

The next workshop will explore the use of technology and automated processes in agriculture, horticulture and aquaculture and how it can aid in improving yield, efficiency and profitability. Our free to attend event will take place from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, February 21, and is hosted by Pershore College.

This forms part of a series of events for BetaDen, Worcestershire’s first-ever commercial tech accelerator, and the workshop will help to develop collaboration among the innovative leaders of the county. We’ve designed the events to enable leading innovators to share information with like-minded people and ultimately shape new creative ideas for boosting growth and productivity.

Raising county's profile for business

We want to support the development of all of these creative ideas, especially those within the county’s thriving sectors: Advanced Manufacturing, AgriTech and Cyber Security. With knowledge sharing at the core, the events will present unique opportunities for businesses in Worcestershire.

We will be joined by representatives from Worcester Scientific – pioneers in Nano-Sensors, and Sidaway Technologies – Entrepreneurs in Machine Learning Technology. We will begin with networking and refreshments, before breaking into some knowledge sharing groups and presentations from leading experts.
