Back in August, I shared the fantastic news that eight organisations from across the two counties had been named winners in the West Midlands heat of the Chamber Business Awards 2019.

The awards are a fantastic chance to celebrate the thriving business community across the country, highlighting the variety of innovative and flexible firms in the UK. The announcement means that companies from the two counties will proudly represent the region in eight out of nine categories at the national Chamber Business Awards 2019 held on Thursday, November 28, at Tobacco Dock, London.

Each year, the calibre of applicants impress the regional judges, and I’m delighted that this year we celebrate a record number of businesses from Herefordshire and Worcestershire that have been selected as winners.

arrangeMY, Bishop Fleming, DRPG, Environmental Management Solutions, Indra Renewable Technologies, Level Peaks Associates, Malvern Panalytical, and OLPRO have all been recognised following their outstanding work in the last 12 months.

I’m also thrilled to share that we will also be joining the finalists on the evening following the news that Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber has been shortlisted in three categories in the national awards – Chamber of the Year, Excellence in Membership Services and Excellence in International Trade.

The business accolades bring with them a wealth of confidence despite the challenging times that companies across the region have been facing.

The deserving recognition reaffirms the strength of the business community in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and I look forward to hearing the results of the national awards on the evening of the 28th.
