Last week the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership team launched this year’s #WLEP20 Conference alongside business leaders from across the county.

These business leaders were also joined by the host for this year’s Worcestershire LEP Conference, Richard “Hursty” Hurst to celebrate the launch of this year’s conference.

This year’s conference is set to bring some exciting new changes to the format of one of Worcestershire’s most popular business events. We are expecting over 400 delegates to attend from 8.30am to 1pm on Tuesday, March 31, at the new venue, the University Arena in Worcester.

I believe attendees this year will recognise the value on offer as for the first time ever, delegates will be able to personalise their conference experience by signing up to two of the most relevant issues facing their business, providing access to personalised breakout workshop sessions.

These sessions will be on key topics that matter to businesses such as: skills and recruitment, travel infrastructure, digital connectivity, climate change and promoting Worcestershire nationally and internationally.

I am delighted to see numerous organisations already getting involved with the conference through new sponsorship packages, the event is not possible without their support so I would like to express my gratitude for their eagerness to be a part of the conference this year.

I am also excited that we will have a larger exhibition area, with the opportunity for over 50 organisations to exhibit across a new innovative floorplan. The team have already started registering interest in exhibiting and I hope to see many of the Worcestershire business community there on the day.

All the information for this year’s Worcestershire LEP conference is available on our new conference website and I would strongly encourage businesses to visit the website to register their free place or enquire about sponsorship and exhibition opportunities at wlepconference.co.uk
