A FEW weeks back I highlighted the news that the Worcestershire LEP conference would be returning in an engaging new virtual format this October and I am excited to announce that registrations are now open.

On top of this, the programme for the conference has been launched with information on the speakers and main feature episodes for each of the five days from October 12-16.

The week will start with an update on skills and training, this is then followed by an interesting piece titled healthy Worcestershire, looking at business recovery during Covid.

Wednesday is focused on our various digital and physical infrastructure projects with Thursday focusing on the future economy of the county.

The week will then finish with an episode on One Worcestershire with a conclusive look at the past 12 months and what the pipeline of programmes and projects for the county looks like.

We are looking forward to having attendees join us virtually and the team have been working hard to make this new registration process simple and easy to complete.

We are keen that those joining to watch the episodes each day are able to share their thoughts around what is being delivered and the plans for the future.

Viewers will be invited to take part in polls during the episodes and leave questions on social media for the team to pick up during the daily espresso morning update.

Thoughts and comments shared from the conference will be used to help advise and steer future work for the Worcestershire LEP.

I would strongly engage any readers interested in hearing about the topics I mentioned above register their free place on our virtual conference. All information about the conference, including the programme and registration form, is available on the Worcestershire LEP website. – wlep.co.uk
