ONE of Worcestershire’s best known businesses – Hewett Recruitment – staged a party to celebrate its 30th birthday.

More than 120 friends and family gathered at the home of the company’s founder Louise Hewett, near Clows Top, as part of a year of 30th anniversary celebrations.

The Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Michael Brinton, paid tribute to Ms Hewett, praising her involvement in the community, from chairman of Young Enterprise to her role current role as chairman of the Ambassadors and patron of St Richard’s Hospice.

Ms Hewett, who has an agency in Foregate Street, Worcester, said: “I was delighted with the evening. It was very special to have loved ones and people who have been with me throughout Hewett Recruitment’s 30 years there to help me celebrate.

“The occasion gave me another chance to thank my team for their hard work and professionalism. I’m still loving running my business and looking forward to further expansion in the years ahead.”
