AN OLD fashioned sweet shop that will bring back childhood memories is due to open in Worcester at the end of the month.
Called Zendel's Old Fashioned Sweet Shop, it will stock tasty delights from years gone by.
Sam Zendel, owner of the Hopmarket store, said: "The shop will be in two parts. One will be floor to ceiling of glass jars with every sweet imaginable.
"We have a proper Victorian till and a set of Victorian scales, but the scales will only be for show.
"The other part of the shop will have things like vintage chocolate boxes, coffee tins and a grammar phone. There'll be plenty to see."
Mrs Zendel, who used to be a recruitment consultant, said she was inspired after visiting a similar shop in Wales. It is due to open on Saturday, September 30.
