A MAN charged with the murder of his wife is to appear at Worcester Crown Court for the latest hearing of the case.
David Clark was arrested at the scene in Cloverdale, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, and appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Wednesday when the case was transferred to crown court.
West Mercia Police say the 44-year-old, named locally as mother-of-two Melanie Clark, suffered a suspected knife injury and was pronounced dead at 12.12am on New Year's Day.
No pleas were taken at the previous two minute magistrates court hearing.
Clark is due to appear at crown court this morning before 11am.
