SIR – Oh dear, Jon Burgess has been reactivated again.

My husband says that no matter how much one debates or argues, you will never change the views of the opponent and Mr Burgess proves the point.

He will never accept the fact that it is cruel to chase a fox until it is exhausted and then let it be torn to pieces by dogs, if the huntsman does not arrive in time to kill it, thus saving it from more pain.

He will never forgive Mr Foster for allowing the people of Worcester to choose to outlaw this cruel pastime and winning the day against the hunting fraternity.

Furthermore, if the members of the Heythrop Hunt had been law abiding citizens there would have been no need for the RSPCA to pursue the case.
