SIR – Re the letter by S Mason ‘Two buses didn’t show – the third was full’ (Worcester News, February 6). I would like to ask if S Mason read and believed the timetable.
Most of us know they are only there to be read while waiting for the bus as they do not take into account roadworks, accidents and other things (such as passengers moaning at them) that may hold up the bus.
For instance, I saw a mechanic picking up a broken down 35 and he told me that he’d had a 44 break down that morning.
When this occurs I doubt they put on another bus in its place. By law a driver has to have so much break per hours of driving.
