SIR – Have you been to Wales and travelled their roads?
Unlike our pothole-infested roads, they are well-maintained, which is hardly surprising as under the Barnett formula, Wales receives no less than 18 per cent more from the public purse than we do in England. Scotland gets 22 per cent while Ulster receives a massive 45 per cent. Fair shares for all?
