SIR – What I find truly amazing are the people who want to stay in the EU and be governed by those anonymous and unelected people.
We should govern ourselves in Britain as we have done perfectly well for centuries since the Romans left.
The evidence for leaving is all around – take this horse meat issue.
Did you know that we are not allowed to test food products “supplied by, and sent from, other EU countries”?
It is against EU law to do so on the grounds that testing is classed as being “nationally racist”, when we all follow the same EU rules – and in their cloud-cuckoo land in Brussels, they seem to think we do.
Do we? Ask Tesco, Findus and Iceland.
EU law also bans shops from “removing suspect food items from public sale when not a direct danger to public health” whether they wish to, or not. They do, but can’t.
We should leave the EU tomorrow.
