SIR – Many people were disappointed that the name of the “new” Diglis Bridge did not acknowledge the staunch work of the man who pushed it through. Now we have another opportunity.
I see that this worthy public servant is tireless in his campaigning (Worcester News, February 15). This should be reflected by calling the soon-to-be-opened Diglis Basin crossing the Derek Prodger MBE Crossing.
