SIR – It is illegal to park a vehicle on the pavement.
It is illegal to cycle contraflow in a one way street.
It is illegal to cycle on a bike without lights.
It is illegal to drop litter.
It is illegal for the handler not to pick up his or her dog’s mess.
And as Tom Edwards, in his story on A-boards in the High Street in Worcester reported (Worcester News, February 26), these too are illegal. But in this country, it seems that most of the laws are there to be broken, and with fewer and fewer bobbies on the beat, it will always be so.
