SIR – Your report on the developers paying for part of the A4440 to be made into a dual carriageway (Worcester News, June 25) smacks of some sort of deal, especially as Welbeck Land has just put in for outline planing.
But reading further on the county council is saying that it will use section 106 money from the development to help fund the dual carriageway.
This is the same as saying: Please build as we will make sure the plans get passed.
