SIR – I have lived in Worcester all my life and have always regularly read the Worcester News.
I have enjoyed it very much but when I saw the price was to go up I thought this might be a bridge too far and a publicity stunt.
How wrong could I be.I have only been reading the new-look paper for two days and it’s much better and for sure is worth the extra 20p.
Today’s your health section was brilliant and I was pleased to read about Worcestershire Healthwatch – an extremely new service.
I wish everyone at the newlook Worcester News all the best in this new venture and I’m sure local people will continue to buy and support the local paper.
I would also like to mention that everyone’s views should be welcomed, however often, and if they wish to write in regularly like George Cowley does, good luck to him.
My nan Irene Chambers wrote to the Worcester News for 30 years-plus.
I didn’t always agree with her but she cared about the city of Worcester greatly.
