SIR – It appears to me that the litter problem in Worcester is getting worse.
Not so long ago, some people were prosecuted for throwing cigarette butts outside a public house.
Do litter/dog wardens still exist?
If they do they should be sacked; if they don’t the council should be ashamed of itself.
There are enough traffic wardens to form a small army – litter and dog fouling are surely at least of equal importance.
Perhaps, one of our councillors could give reasons why the city centre is in such a mess.
