SIR – I must admit I know nothing about fracking and I think most of the protesters know nothing about it either.
I think they are protesting for the sake of it. It’s just a big game to them.
The police should stop the protesters camping round the site in West Sussex and tell them to get on with the work because it could be a good energy source for years to come.
But with all these protests about, is it worth the company trying? I don’t think so.
