SIR – Along with five others I went to Huntingdon Hall on August 26.

It was a superb evening’s entertainment performed by the Piccadilly Revellers.

The ensemble, comprising four musicians and two vocalists, performed songs from the 1920s and 30s – the golden age of song writing.

The musicianship and vocals were really top class.

The only negative was that there were possibly only 50 or 60 people in the audience and although we were enthusiastic in our applause, the performers must have been disappointed by the number. To their credit they didn’t show it. It’s a pity that in a city the size of Worcester there were not more people there.

Hopefully this was not a financial loss for the hall.

Another case, I fear, of ‘use it or lose it’.
