SIR – Letter writer George Cowley is always worrying about other people in other countries.

He’s saying now that millions of children don’t go to school in Pakistan (Worcester News, August 21).

As much as I love children, don’t you think, George, there’s a lot to worry about in our own country.

There are food crises, housing issues, the bedroom tax, yobs, people out of work and lots more. There are children here going without food. I think we should look here first, George, and stop worrying about other countries. Let them take care of their own.
