Sir - My husband is in intensive care in Worcester Royal and it is a very stressful time for his family.
I am disabled so parking is a huge problem for me I have to arrive early just to find a space.
On Monday 30th June I was very upset when I left my husband. I had parked in another car park so my son had moved it closer for me.
I thought that it was in the area free to disabled people not realising until I reached the barrier that I was wrong.
I wanted to pay so I pressed the button for assistance as there were cars behind me.
I was treated like a cheat. He wouldn't listen, told me to back up and pay like everyone else, insisting I reverse when I couldn't. I was distraught and a kind man argued with the guard who then let me go. People were watching I felt terrible.
I am going through a hellish time made worse by this. I want to thank the kind man who helped me.
