Sir - I would suggest Mr Burgess to take a look at this report conducted by the UN which concludes; the livestock sector emerges as one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global.
PETA US is a shelter of last resort, meaning it takes in animals specifically for euthanasia – the ones the "no-kill" shelters will not help because they would ruin their statistics.
Unlike those shelters that close their doors to animals in need in order to maintain their adoption rates, PETA US always puts animals first.
The suffering of animals concerns all caring and compassionate people, from Upton Snodsbury, London or anywhere else in the world.
