SIR - I would be very grateful if you could print this letter in your paper to let people know just what a wonderful, caring and extremely efficient team of doctors, nurses and paramedics we are lucky to have working with and inside the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

My husband recently suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital by two absolutely fabulous paramedics in their ambulance.

Charlie Lowe, my husband, was comforted and cared for all the way while being treated and monitored by a two man extremely efficient and wonderful team.

On arrival he was handed into the care of Dr George Pavlakis, a superb consultant and his equally brilliant and efficient team of nurses and assistants.

Led by Dr Pavlakis they were all so dedicated and wonderful working on my husband for two hours and thirty minutes and I thank them all from the bottom of my heart.

I now have my lovely husband back home with me plus piles of pills and written instructions and advice all carefully explained to us by Kirsty another lovely person so caring and dedicated to her job.

They should all be very proud of themselves, we are both so very grateful to them.

I would also like to thank the Whiteacres Medical Centre in Malvern, the receptionist, nurse Sarah David and Dr John who called the ambulance, and everyone who was some way involved with Charlie that Thursday morning acting so quickly.

VALERIE LOWE Malvern
