SIR - It does seem such a pity that the Worcester Swimming Baths can't stay on the same site that the current baths and the previous baths of Park's have occupied for going on 200 years.

The site is central for all citizens of Worcester and when the motor car has gone we would all have a better chance of getting there.

But in the meantime if the baths were brought forward to the previous site of Park's bath it would create a much bigger site at the rear and that could be used to help the tenants of the Arboretum with their parking problems.

The land for the Arboretum was taken by the council of yesterday.

Perhaps the council of today could give the help they need back to the residents of the Arboretum and make swimming easier for all the citizens of Worcester.
