Sirs - The excellent article in our 'Worcester News' on August 8th, revealing the county councils disgraceful incompetance in managing our money, whilst systematically cutting services to us all of course because we are told there is no cash, is something that surely requires thorough independant investigation.

£184000 of our money wasted. Given to an unknown third party? What? For advice on 'waste initiatives'?

The biggest laugh? £259000 of our money on a blueprint (presumably useless) on how to save money!

And potential criminal breaches of the law..EU and our own. Tax misfiling.

Log on to the county council website, and view the beaming faces of our local glitterati. Some you will see on there are eerily familiar in other areas that have come up recently.

If ordinary hardworking residents here were involved in anything remotely close to this shameful waste of money, we would be sacked. And the case would be considered for a referal to the police, if criminal activity was suspected, or laws broken.

Lets see what happens here shall we?

I might be wrong. But our local politicians here in the city and county, are looking increasingly like they need independent scrutiny.
