SIR - I see the Government is to attempt to cut the maximum waiting time to 18 weeks by boosting round-the-clock surgery.
This would be great but I think it must be a dream because its only a fortnight since some hospitals were cancelling operations through lack of funding.
Let us hope it is not a dream.
