SIR - I see now that the weak-wristed brigade have moved their sights to the London Olympics. They have said that the RAF's Red Arrows display team is too militaristic' and might upset or offend other nations'. These are evidently the sort of people who, if they had been alive in the Second World War, would probably have crawled under their tables and prayed for the RAF to take quickly to the skies.

These people should be thrown off the committee and we should have someone who is proud to fly our flag by means of our own incomparable air display team.

Can anyone imagine the French or Germans taking this attitude if they themselves had the opportunity to promote their own display teams in the same situation? I think not!
