SIR - My grand-daughter lost her mobile phone last Thursday.

She had been out with her boyfriend and naturally thought she'd dropped it in his car. They went and searched it, but to no avail.

He thought for a while and remembered that she was using it last when they were in St Martin's car park and suggested that they go back to see if it had been dropped where they originally parked. Being late the multi-storey was locked, so they went to the police station and reported it. On Friday morning he went back down there to look again but no joy.

He asked the attendant if he'd seen it but still no joy.

Later that day there was a call asking him if he had reported a pink flip phone as one had been handed in.

My granddaughter's boyfriend recognised it straight away and took it to her. She was so pleased to be reunited with it.

May I say its nice to know there are honest people about.

Thank you to whoever it was.

MRS J MILLS, Worcester.
