SIR - We were very sorry to hear about the tragic death of 27-day-old baby Zach Hartshorne (Worcester News, August 31). This is a terrible reminder that a family suffers the tragedy of a cot death nearly every day in the UK. It remains the leading cause of death for babies over one month old and there is a desperate need for more research and support for bereaved families.
