SIR - Why all the fuss about Be-eco bag (Worcester News, September 18) The Chieffo's are not the first to think of a carrier dispenser. My friend and I who are both pensioners in our late 70s have been making this type of bag for 14 years and giving them to charities and Scout groups to sell at their fetes and Christmas fairs.
They were usually sold for about £1.
My own bag is hanging on the back of the kitchen door and is 15 years old and made out of waterproof nylon, so the idea is not new.
