SIR - Once again, the Government's managed to get some money out of the energy companies to help the poor.
A better way to help the poor would be for the Government to stop the energies companies over-charging in the first place - there's no real competition now.
I think their charges should be capped for the next three years. Britons are paying more for energy than the restt of Europe.
