SIR – In reply to David Barlow’s letter (October 31), “How come all three major parties are broadly pro European Union membership?”
Perhaps it’s because after their MP’s tour of duty at Westminster, they can then try to get on the real gravy train in Strasbourg.
Pigs, snouts and troughs, come to mind!
