SIR – What was the point in voting in the last local elections when councillors do not uphold their promises?
I live behind the grammar school and we local people have a persistent problem with pupils taking every space available in the area. I dare not use my car during school hours because I will have nowhere to park when I return.
At 3.45pm each day parents are waiting to pick up their children and are parking on zig-zag and double-yellow lines. There’s no sign of a warden then!
Councillors have promised time and time again to enter into talks to solve this problem but I will not hold my breath.
I am seriously wondering why it seems that there is one rule for the RGS Worcester & Alice Ottley School and another for us mere mortal people.
GW CHURCHILL,
Worcester.
