SIR – Interesting to see Mike Foster MP bought two books to further his knowledge on how to be a good MP. I suggest he adds Words and Deedes by the late great WF Deedes.
One of the attributes of a good MP is the ability to answer questions on the doorstep when electioneering, such as “Which way did you vote on the Ghurka question?”
