SIR – It was indeed gratifying to see a locally made car, the Morgan, opening Colwall bridge. I must point out an error in your caption. You described the cars as vintage Morgans, yet in the picture I failed to see a three-wheeled Morgan.
The first four-wheeled Morgan was only offered in 1936, therefore they do not qualify as vintage, being too young by several years.
In fact the Morgans depicted are not even early examples of the four-wheeled Morgan being modern.
