SIR – I agree with Will Freeman regarding speed cameras.
We live on London Road above the pedestrian crossing between Foxwell and Marlborough Streets and the number of vehicles, from cars to articulated trucks, that thunder down the hill at speed considerably above 30 is increasing noticeably.
Regarding Frank Lloyd’s letter I have to correct his assertion that there is nothing stopping you turning left out of Seabright Avenue. Yes, there is nothing at the lights to inform drivers that a left turn is not allowed, but if you go back down Seabright 10 or 20 yards you will find fixed “no left turn” signs.
