SIR – Droitwich was alive to the Sound of Brass Bands. A total of 50 of them performed at three venues across our town from 10am-9.30pm on Sunday September 20.
What a great day and well supported.
Wychavon Festival of Brass is held in rotation in the three towns of Wychavon District Council, but it hasn’t been in our town for eight years. Thanks must go to Coun Chris Barton who spoke up for the town and got Wychavon Festival of Brass committee to hold this wonderful event in Droitwich.
