SIR – Seeing the figures for the park and ride areas makes you think is it worth the cost of £2.5 million to set up and £350,000 a year to run.
That seems an awful lot of money to get people into town. A better way would be to use the trains with a couple of halts on the west side. They should stop people trying to get over the bridge and make the train fare cheaper than using the car. The same from Warndon, Fernhill Heath and Droitwich.
JOHN SHEARON,
Worcester.
