SIR – Watching Strictly Come Dancing made me realise how fit the dancers were, which brought back memories of lots of dance halls around Worcester and surrounding areas.
All gone now.
But, wouldn’t it be a good thing to open up a dance hall for the youngsters on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday and get them away from this binge-drinking on a weekend, especially now the council has cut funding for the football pitches.
This would kill two birds with one stone. Get the kids fit with dancing and away from the binge-drinking.
