SIR – May I please say a big thank you to everyone who sponsored my brother, Tom Adams. On September 12 Tom did a tandem sky-dive at Hinton airfield to raise money for NRAS – the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.
Both mum and myself suffer from RA and Tom has witnessed how this disease can affect your life. Therefore, it seemed the most obvious charity to support.
NRAS is the only patient-led charity in the UK specifically for people with rheumatoid arthritis, their families and carers. It provides support, information and advocacy.
Tom thoroughly enjoyed the experience and raised a total of £661.
Well done to Tom for being so brave and raising money for such a worthy cause.
Many thanks
Donna Saunders,
Worcester NRAS volunteer coordinator.
