SIR – I agree with B Murray’s letter. Why should people who never use taxis have to fund cameras in cars?
In the past two years I have only used taxis as a last resort. I gave up using them because, when I used them for the same journey, at the same time of day, my fare was never the same and I was always taken the long way round.
