SIR – Jon Burgess (Letters, January 28) states that the Worcester News is not pro-hunting.

I can see that they do publish both sides of the argument. But I never see the praise made towards the people who saved the life of an animal by intervening in a nonviolent way.

There are plenty of clips on the internet showing hunters attacking activists just for caring.

The Worcester News publishes letters from both sides of the argument. If Mr Burgess goes online then he will see that the vast majority of letters and comments are against hunting.

Also, Mr Burgess accuses me of stating the ‘class’ war. When at all did I mention ‘toffs’?

Mr Burgess also accuses me of having no interest in animal welfare and no understanding of the countryside. Where is his proof? Propaganda again.
