SIR – In reply to Dr Ros Keeton (Worcestershire Mental Health Trust) about stigma (Worcester News, January 24) – people still smile knowingly at my regular letters in the Worcester News, but it is my way, at the age of 73, of contributing to public debate. My consultant psychiatrist is pleased with my progress since leaving hospital 31 years ago, but it has been a very difficult uphill struggle. I am now largely at peace.
